The SKINVIVE™ procedure involves injecting small microdroplets of hyaluronic acid into the dermis layer, which won't alter the shape or volume of your face. The treatment session usually lasts around 15 minutes, and does not require downtime, making it convenient to fit into your schedule. Some patients may require an optional touch-up.

Expect the following:

Before your session, we’ll explain the procedure and provide after-care instructions
Multiple microdroplet injections—where a tiny amount of product is injected just below the skin—are performed on each cheek with an ultra-thin needle and ice for comfort. A topical numbing solution is available upon request. However, it is not required like other filler options.
The lidocaine in SKINVIVE™ keeps you comfortable.

After treatment, you may notice:

As with any filler treatment, the side effects are typically related to the injection process. Localized swelling, bruising, or pinpoint bleeding may be noted at the injection site.
Other side effects are not common and are related to allergic reactions. We have HA naturally in the skin, so it is rare.

After treatment, minimize the following for the first 24 hours:

Strenuous exercise
Exposure to extensive sun or heat
Alcoholic beverages or ibuprofen
