Background and Education

Dr. Jukes graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1996, where she also completed her residency in 2000. She then spent a few years at a multi-physician practice in Austin before opening her own practice, Lisa M. Jukes, MD. P.A., in 2004.

In 2019, she opened Modern Women’s Health — a center where Dr. Jukes takes a 360-degree approach to treating patients, including vaginal rejuvenation, bioidentical hormone therapy, an FDA-approved and physician-supervised weight loss program, and a variety of med aesthetic treatments for both body and face.

Dr. Jukes looks forward to helping women with their gynecological and overall healthcare needs.

Texas Top Docs

Top Doctor in Gynecology

Modern Women’s Health is honored to announce that Dr. Lisa M. Jukes has received the 2021 Award for Top Doctor in Gynecology. She is acknowledged for her considerable accomplishments and dedicated commitment to patient care.

Recognition in Austin Monthly

Congratulations to Dr. Jukes for her recent recognition in Austin Monthly as a Top Doctor for Women in the field of Gynecology. This list is determined using an online survey that collects peer nominations from physicians in Travis, Hays, and Williamson counties, asking them to nominate up to three doctors per practice area who they would trust with the medical care of themselves or their family. To ensure the nomination process is peer-based, full contact information was requested before nominating, and doctors were asked to limit their nominations to physicians whose work they’ve personally witnessed. Austin Monthly then tallies the results, selecting the top 10-15 percent of vote recipients in each practice area before submitting the final list to their fact-checking process, which includes a review of good standing among medical boards.
