The June 2008 Obstetrics and Gynecology journal, published by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, has just released the results of a randomized control trial regarding the effectiveness of Evamist, a new spray form of estrogen hormone replacement for the treatment of menopause hot flashes. A randomized trial is the gold standard for the evaluation of a medical claim and carries significant weight in the medical community in terms of the accuracy of its results.
